A Week in Pictures

There is a post I’ve been needing to write.  It’s rather soul-bearing and so I’m waiting to perfect the words so it can hopefully be uplifting rather than a dumping on of emotional baggage.  So, in the meantime, I’ll just share some pictures.  And, if you think of it, just pray that my post to come will come across effectively.

Micah has been skipping his naps.  But I do make him have some quiet time for about an hour (a little longer some days).  This one particular day I walked in to every book pulled off the shelf.  He looked pretty nervous when I opened the door, no doubt fully aware that it wasn’t the greatest idea to empty his bookshelves.  What was his supposed alibi?

Oh, hi Mommy.  I was wookin’ fo a book fo you.

Nice.

Mother’s Day 2013 <3.

Backyard fun.  Micah was so proud of himself – he is no longer afraid of going down the slide by himself.  Big day. 🙂

Josh, his dad, and youngest brother started constriction on a half pipe in our backyard this weekend.  Josh used to be really into skateboarding and is rekindling an old flame.  I just don’t want any broken bones.

I rocked polka dots and stripes this week haha!  It was fun.  I asked Josh what he thought and he said, “I thought it looked wierd but I figured it was trendy or something.  You usually know what you’re doing.”  Haha!  Thanks for the vote of confidence 🙂

I hope you had a good weekend.  Did you do anything fun?
